1 8-oz package cream cheese (regular kind)
1 cup Cool Whip - thawed
1 cup powdered sugar
2 pkgs instant chocolate pudding mix
Nuts as desired
2 cups milk (or less)
Mix cheese (room temp) with 1 cup of powdered sugar, 1 cup of Cool Whip. Mix well and spread on the butter style crust (see Strawberry Pie) that’s been completely cooled. Then mix 2 small boxes of chocolate instant pudding according to directions on box (I like mine thicker so I use the pie directions, which is 1 ¾ cup of milk instead of 2 cups). Spread pudding mix on cheese mixture, top with Cool Whip and nuts to suit. Put in fridge until chilled well and serve with a smile! Keeps well in fridge for a few days. This pie can also be used in a crumb crust like Graham crackers. Use electric mixer for this recipe (check this).
