2 cups crushed strawberries, blueberries or peaches
(other fruits or berries may work, but you might need to test and vary the recipe depending on the amount of water in the fruit)
4 cups white sugar
1 package Sure-Jell fruit pectin (regular not sugar-free)
Wash berries with stems still on (for strawberries). Remove stems, then wash again. Prepare these in advance, and let them dry completely.
Put berries in a mixing bowl. Add sugar. Stir and let stand 15 minutes. Boil package of Sure-Jell in 3/4 cup of water for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add the liquid to fruit, stirring until it thickens. Pour into small canning or jelly jars (any jar with a tight-fitting lid will do), leaving 1/2" space at the top. Seal the jar. Let sit at room temperature for 24 hours. Put in freezer, and keep frozen until ready to eat. Return to freezer after eating and repeat.
