1-1 ½ lbs ground chuck
4 small to medium potatoes
3-4 small carrots
1 large onion
Seasoned salt to taste
Oleo to season
Black pepper - optional
Green pepper - optional
Shape ground chuck into round patties as many or as large and thick as you desire. Place patties on a piece of foil large enough to pull up and close on top. On top of the patties place potatoes that have been peeled and cut into wedge-shape pieces, also carrots cut into ½” or so pieces. Chop onions on top to taste, dot with oleo, seasoned salt and pepper. Pull the foil up tent style, place on baking sheet and cook at 350 degrees until meat is done and vegetables tender. Remove from oven, punch small holes in bottom of foil to drain excess fat. If you wish, this meal can be eaten right from the foil – that would be more HO-BO style, ha. A good meal to do all in one, stick in the oven and go on with your chores.
